hope, healing, change

Narrative Therapy is used with clients to help them deconstruct the unhelpful stories they have about themselves, allowing an alternative, more hopeful, life-story to emerge. I especially enjoy this type of therapy because of the freedom gained when people separate themselves from what is often a problem-saturated life story.

Neuropathway Integration is possible. This is necessary for calming emotional triggers. Brain research over the past thirty years has paved a path for new therapy modalities. These mind body therapies heal without retraumatizing.

I have trained in three of these modalities: Lifespan Integration, CIMBS, and Internal Family Systems. These therapeutic techniques gently resolve past hurts by engaging our body and mind’s innate ability to resolve them, and thereby heal itself. After this type of therapy, clients often report feeling less triggered by current stressors and better able to regulate emotions, solve problems, and stay connected in relationships.
